1. Conditions Required for Construction
(1) The drawing review has been completed, and a detailed work instruction manual has been prepared based on the manufacturer’s documentation and approved.
(2) The quality of the construction works related to the installation of the box-type transformer shall comply with the current national standards for construction and acceptance.
(3) The locations of embedded parts and cable conduits comply with the design requirements, and the embedded parts are securely fastened.
2. Construction Preparation
2.1 Transformer Foundation Inspection
(1) Coordinate with the owner and the supervising engineer to inspect the construction quality of the transformer foundation, complete the inspection record form, and obtain signatures from all parties for confirmation. Any issues identified shall be reported promptly and addressed without delay.
(2) Carefully verify the dimensions of the transformer foundation’s transverse and longitudinal axes, as well as the positions of the embedded conduits, and cross-check them against the dimensions specified in the drawings. Only proceed to the next step after confirming that all dimensions are correct.
2.2 Transformer Unboxing Inspection
(1) Upon arrival of the transformer, the unpacking and inspection shall be conducted jointly with representatives from the owner, the supervising engineer, and the manufacturer.
(2) Before unloading, measure and record the impact value of the shock recorder; this value shall be less than 3G.
(3) Inspect the transformer for any external damage, ensure the paint coating is intact, and record the findings.
(4) Inspect the internal components of the transformer to ensure there is no displacement, contamination, or other abnormalities.
3. Transformer installation and positioning
(1) Install the transformer channel‑steel foundation on the embedded anchor plates, ensuring proper leveling and alignment. Securely weld the channel‑steel foundation to the anchor plates, and after removing the slag from the welds, apply an anti‑corrosion paint coating.
(2) After the fan has been hoisted into place, the transformer is positioned directly on the foundation and leveled and aligned using jacks.
(3) Connect the transformer to the foundation using the manufacturer‑specified mounting method (bolting or welding).
(4) If the equipment is delivered in separate components, install the enclosure after the transformer has been installed and aligned.
(5) Hang the identification signs and clean the interior of the transformer enclosure.
(6) Prior to the next process, ensure proper protection of the finished product.
